FAQ

Frequently asked question

If a product is not visible in the ordering portal, you can submit a manual request to order the book anyway.

Please provide as much information as possible, such as:

  • ISBN
  • Title
  • Author
  • Publisher

The ordering portal contains the most commonly used titles for PwC employees. Titles outside this standard selection can be requested manually.

In principle, we always supply new books. An exception applies when a book can be sourced second-hand and this results in a significant financial advantage for PwC. In such cases, only books in “as good as new” condition are selected.

If a hardcover edition is listed or supplied, we may deliver the same edition in paperback, provided it is available. A paperback edition is generally more cost-effective than a hardcover.

All orders are charged to the PwC main account. Prices displayed are inclusive of 9% VAT where applicable.

For books sourced outside the EU, the book price is shown at the local sales price. Any shipping costs, VAT, and import duties—if applicable—will be automatically added to the book price after receipt of the book.

Most books are available within 48 hours.

Publications from institutes such as IFRS Foundation and ACCA, as well as titles from publishers based in the United States and the United Kingdom, are not held in stock and are ordered on request.

These books have a longer lead time than standard titles.

All orders are delivered to designated PwC office locations. Pick-up is available at the following offices:

  • Amsterdam Westgate
  • Eindhoven
  • Groningen
  • Maastricht
  • Rotterdam
  • Utrecht

Orders can only be collected at these locations; home delivery is not available.

Orders are delivered to the mailroom of the designated PwC offices on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Your order will be available for collection in the mailroom on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

When you place an order, we always deliver the most recent edition available.

The ordering portal displays the latest edition by default. If you require a specific edition or publication year, please submit a request via Support.

Once your order has been shipped to the selected Pick-up Point (PwC office), you will receive an email containing a tracking and tracing code. This allows you to follow the shipment until it arrives at the pick-up location.

If books have been ordered but are no longer required, they can be returned within 48 hours after receipt of the order.

Before returning an order or part of an order, the return must first be registered via Support.

Books sourced outside the EU often cannot be returned and will therefore not be credited. If a return to the publisher is possible, return shipping and handling costs will apply and will be charged to PwC.

Questions regarding the content of the portal or information about the selected pick-up points should be directed to PwC directly.

The portal has been developed on behalf of PwC, including the agreed arrangements regarding shipping, discounts, editions, returns, and related terms.
